Sandra Foster is a national best-selling author, popular speaker,
writer, researcher and consultant on topics affecting the financial
services industry and the Canadian consumer. Her practical strategies
and expert guidance helps Canadians get the most for their money,
and motivates today's professionals to take control of their businesses
and achieve success.
She is the founder of Headspring
Consulting Inc. a Toronto-based consultancy firm which provides
strategic advice and research to the financial services industry.
As reflected in her presentations, Sandra is both informative and
entertaining, and her audiences are as varied as the topics she
addresses. She empowers the audiences through the use of relevant
and realistic examples, heart-warming stories and antidotes, and
interactive question and answer sessions.
Foster holds the following designations: Certified Financial Planner
(CFP), Registered Financial Planner (RFP), Canadian Investment Manager
(CIM), Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Trust and
Estate Practitioner (TEP), and Fellow, Canadian Securities Institute
(FCSI).
Sandra is currently a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for
Advisor’s Edge magazine and the Canadian Journal of Financial Planning.
She is also the recipient of the 1998 CAFP Multi-Media award. Sandra
Foster recently chaired the advisor transition working group for
the Fair Dealing Model for the Ontario Securities Commission.
Foster served as Vice-President of a major financial advisory firm
where she developed a successful financial advisory practice from
1993 to 1999 working with high net-worth families, entrepreneurs
and executives. Foster holds a BA from University of Toronto and
is a graduate of the University of Toronto Executive Program. Prior
to that, she ran a computer consulting firm.
